My morning began with a 24mi ride through the Civil War Battlefields of Gettysburg, PA. From there I made my way to York, PA where I joined a tour of Harley Davidson's largest production plant. Finally, on my way to a friend's place in Maryland I rode the fantastic back roads of Pennsylvania's Dutch Country where my only concern was picking up a thrown horse shoe nail. Upon arrival I was tempted to turn around and do it all over again.

My first three days on the road were spent in temperatures ranging from 50-60 with plenty of precipitation. Today I rode through Pennsylvania's Allegheny National Forest en route to Gettysburg in the 80's with crystal clear skies.
